We are currently have a empty trailer in Maryland and heading to Pennsylvania to get loaded and then taking that load to Kansas; yup the middle of nowhere! We haven't been out birding in about a week and not because of the heat, but due to the time restrictions. I do hope to get out there soon to go birding, besides from photography birding is my favorite hobby.

We today I started a photography page on Facebook! Just needed somewhere public to share my photography! But, these mountains are not making it very easy; damn you sprint internet card! Let me share some shots I took out the window while going down the roads of New Mexico!

Here's a shot of the sun setting in New Mexico, we were actually stopped for this one. My hubby had to stop for a cig break (he don't smoke in the truck no more!)

We are headed for Boise, Idaho and our GPS; that we just bought last month, broke. Nice 7" GPS and we can't even use it and to top it off our old GPS won't turn on either! My husband thinks he may have broke it when he accidently dropped it. At least it wasn't me!

Traffic Jam

As we are trying to get through Dallas, Texas; we have gone through continuous road work and a few car accidents. One involved two semis getting to close and the mirror touched the others trailer and the other involved three cars. One car is minus a bumper and the other two seem to just be fender benders. 

My lovely husband gets a little cranky in traffic jams, but today is much better than usual. Even though he wants a cig and hasn't been able to stop and have one. Especially since we missed the exit to get on Interstate 35 to get to highway 287. I really don't know how some people drive in all this traffic day after day! 

Something intereesting we spotted along out long journey through Dallas/Ft. Worth was these Police stands kind of reminds me of guard stations at prisons. (I've never been in prison but I watch movies!) I don't know what they are used for; maybe just checking speeders. 

What are your thoughts? We saw two of these about a mile apart from each other.

Back on the Road

Been a while since I've wrote anything on here, but here goes. We had some time off roughly ten days and we went up to northern Minnesota to do some birding, then spent some time down in Sioux Falls with my family. Sadly I didn't get to see my father, as he was heading to Tennessee to get Wyatt; my little brother.

On our way to Sioux Falls we happened to stop at a rest area that had bird feeders set up behind the building! Got to see some Baltimore Orioles, Downy Woodpecker, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, and plenty of American Robins and House Sparrows.

We took my sister and mom down to the Omaha Zoo. My mom had never been down there before. She really enjoyed it a lot! Haven't had time to go through my pictures yet but plan to put up a few photos later. Got some very neat shots of Jellyfish! All and all it was a great day with the family!

This Robin's nest was in my sister's garage on top of her rake! She's not a bird person so I watched the nest and never saw the momma in the nest. The last day we were there I checked the eggs and was hoping for new chicks but the nest had been found by a savager bird; sad.

We are now back on the road and heading to Ft. Worth, Texas.

Spring!

Today we are driving through Tennessee and it looks like spring is right around the corner! Trees are budding!! Can't wait to see some leaves on these branches!

Today we are up in Syracuse, New York getting uploaded and then we are off to Vermont. Right now I am surfing the net looking for ways to make money online. Know any easy ways to do it? Let me know if you do. I think I found at least one that I'm going to do.
We will be headed south later today after we go to Vermont and pick up a Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream load. Taking that to Henderson, NV. I'll be glad to get into some warmer weather!
