Utah

Today, we traveled through the Moab Desert and it is quiet beautiful. I got lots of pictures and will upload a few tomorrow. We saw Hole in the Rock, Wilson Arch and some mountain ranges. We made a stop in Moab at a wetland and saw about five different bird species.
We took a little more time than we were supposed to but had some ups and downs while we were at the wetland. We saw the Spotted Towhee! Both male and female. We were going to head back to the truck when Simon thought it would be a good idea to cut through the trees/grassey area. But there was a lot of trees down from the recent wildfire and blocked us from making a shortcut. We took one "path" that was actually a deer path that led to a dead end. That's about when I was really tired of walking so we went back where we came from and a fell and had a little breakdown. My wonderful hubby helped me through it and not getting mad, which I am very greatful for. We finally got back to the path and a half hour later we made it to the front of the wetland. Then a little bit later we made it to the truck, finally! Until tomorrow, goodnight!
