Dealing with Roadblocks

We loaded at Coor's last night but we were actually overweight when we left there and had to go up the road to get a scale then ended up having to go back. Then we had to sit there for about thirty minutes to get back into a door and was then told they wouldn't do anything about the weight being over. what a bunch of asses! But after a few calls to dispatch and talking to the shipper we decided to take the load. Then we stopped at the TA and scaled 2 more times adjusted the axles and away we went.
Once we got to  Wyoming and it is very wind out here. They have shut down I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne due to the wind. We are traveling on Interstate 25 headed north to North Dakota so we still have the wind but we have an open road to travel on and we are eighty thousand pounds; very heavy. So we have that in our favor.
So far we have seen 3 pick-ups one pulling a camper in the ditch and a semi and a car. It looked like the car got his bumper caught under the DOT bumper of the trailer. Which would have been very scary for any motorist! At least there wasn't any rolled vehicles. These are just a few of the things that a person wishes they didn't have to see out on the road.
On the upside we will be driving through the Black Hills of South Dakota. Hoping to get some nice pictures!
